Watoto na Vitabu Saturday program routinely organises an end of quarter fair, where children showcase their acquired reading skills and creative writing prowess. This time round the session was planned to coincide with the Book Bazaar. The event featured the following activities: Book Launch of children own story book titled, Turtle and Swan and Other Stories; an anthology of stories they wrote during the quarter. A storytelling session, facilitated by Jackline John, author Kijiji cha Mwili. Dramatization of a book they read during the quarter Mfalme Ndevu. Children also read their stories aloud to parents who attended, facilitators and fellow children and exhibited their works for all to see.
