Readership for Learning and Development–Soma with the support from Women Fund Tanzania Trust are proud to profile young promising female storytellers who will research and produce original works on feminist issues in Tanzania using any creative form (genre) and media tool of their choice. #HadithiZetuChallenge

Meet Angela Beily her actions and support sets the stage for women to be portrayed in more positive roles and representations in their communities.

Meet Tulanana Bohela ,she is a digital storyteller, with close to 10 years experience, telling stories through her journalism for international broadcasters and her personal works in film, television and immersive media

Meet Theresia Bura she is a film actor and stage performer, Theresia loves arts and she is ready to use it to reach communities.

Meet Nahida Esmail as an author Nahida’s goal is to write a book in every genre and to provide good books for young people with the hope that youth across Africa will become strong readers and great leaders.

Meet Upendo Mmbaga, she is a content creative writer and story narrator, interested in addressing communities challenges through storytelling.

Meet Jesca Jacob, as upcoming singer and an activist, she participated in Namthamini,Nisitiri nisome campaigns aimed at contributing school uniforms to the students located in remote areas.

Meet Catherine Misigaro,her artistic interests are primarily in photography and film making,she profiles women occupying urban spaces and demonstrating enterprise through photography.

Meet Meki Kilalile. Her efforts to achieve gender equality is stimulate by creativity. She is committed to use art to challenge gender bias and obsolete gender roles to create a new, more inclusive society.

Meet Irene George her passion is to serve the grass-root community through writing and researching on the projects that advocates for marginalized communities including women and people living with disabilities.

Meet Upendo Chitinka She uses her creative writing to break the silence about injustice and prejudice. Her career as a gender focal point and women and peace officer has given her a platform to advocate for women’s rights and fight against Gender-Based Violence.

Meet Gwanta Lucas, She is a 3D animator,script writer ,producer and author,she strives towards creating female heroes so that an African girl can see herself in them.
